NERALLT is a regional affiliate of IALLT, the International Association for Language Learning Technology, and our members are language teaching professionals, as well as administrators and technical support staff of language labs, ESL labs, and other centers in which technology is applied to language teaching and learning.

Although we serve the greater New England region, anyone is welcome to join this site and our organization.

Topic:

There is much discussion in modern language departments about the effectiveness of teaching a foreign language online.   This session will introduce participants to one online learning model that is being implemented at Quinnipiac University to teach Spanish using technologies such as Lingt Classroom, Skype and VoiceThread. Participants will also learn about the course design process in addition to examining data of learners’ perception of studying a language online.
